I love this author/illustrator! I discovered her through her original drawings focusing very astutely, on feelings and situations of being an introvert。 I love that her content and her artwork can speak to multi generations because she really gets at the heart of some of the struggles of being an introvert in a very simple insightful way。 I like how in this book, she went into a little more detail about what being an introvert is like and sharing some of her own personal experiences alongside he I love this author/illustrator! This is a cute, quick guide to protecting your energy and enforcing boundaries。 I think all young adults could get something helpful from this, introverted or not。I'm only giving this 3 stars because I personally have some issues with the introvert label。 I think it's very limiting and can be a dismissive label for people struggling with mental health issues。 Is true introversion even a real thing? How much of introverted behavior is a learned coping skill or a trauma response? It's a pretty good self-help book in comic style about embracing and learning to live as an introvert in a noisy extrovert-centered world。The illustrations are simple but cute nonetheless。 And the tips and the way the book is written in such inclusive ways I'd recommend it to all introverts out there who want to read a quick comic styled book to understand and help themselves。Though I did find it odd the way the author/cartoonist described being an introvert too close to being autistic。。。 It's a pretty good self-help book in comic style about embracing and learning to live as an introvert in a noisy extrovert-centered world。The illustrations are simple but cute nonetheless。 And the tips and the way the book is written in such inclusive ways I'd recommend it to all introverts out there who want to read a quick comic styled book to understand and help themselves。Though I did find it odd the way the author/cartoonist described being an introvert too close to being autistic。。。 。。。more

A great tool understanding yourself or that introvert in your life。Once I understood that I was an introvert, things started making so much sense。 As an introvert, my energy comes from (I recharge through) alone time。 Sometimes being around other people can be too much, but people are everywhere and we love many of them。 This book helps with advice, tips, tricks, and escape plans for how to live in this world where we are all so connected。 A warm hug and a feeling of being truly seen。 Another wa A great tool understanding yourself or that introvert in your life。Once I understood that I was an introvert, things started making so much sense。 As an introvert, my energy comes from (I recharge through) alone time。 Sometimes being around other people can be too much, but people are everywhere and we love many of them。 This book helps with advice, tips, tricks, and escape plans for how to live in this world where we are all so connected。 A warm hug and a feeling of being truly seen。 Another warm hug (if you like that kind of thing) from a wonderful author and illustrator。 I found her years ago on Instagram and Marzi’s work had quickly become an auto-purchase for me。 Her willingness to share her own situations and vulnerabilities with the world is amazing and I greatly appreciate her making me (and other introverts) feel seen and not alone。 I highly recommend this book for everyone。Stars 5Would I Recommend? Very cute illustrated advice for introverts。 It feels like it would be perfect for young adults just feeling their way into jobs and relationships。 Being older than that demographic I skimmed through a lot but found it charming and supportive。 I found this after following the author on Instagram。 Definitely worth a follow!

I hoped this book would be more like Marzi’s web comics—funny and insightful。 But the advice was very basic and the images really just repeated that advice instead of adding to it。 Cute idea, though!
